Hi Michelle, Our premium wide plank countertops are made of boards 5"-8" in width to create a solid surface top. The planks are kiln dried to remove excess moisture before the top is constructed to minimize movement. All wood tops will experience some level of acclimatization to its environment, and there may be slight movement, but nothing significant to where it will affect the usage of the countertop.
