Aesthetics of using two wood floors to define kitchen and living room
April 26, 2014 in Design Dilemma
I have a floor through condo where there is no barrier (walls) between the living room and kitchen/entrance. Would it be suitable / aesthetically pleasing to have a wood floor of say oak in the living room, and a reclaimed oak at a 45 degree angle to define the kitchen area?

If you like how it will look, that's all that matters. I've seen Nicole of Rehab Addict do things like that in her homes, and they always look great.
