Front entrance nightmare on lakehouse-help!

Beautiful views, lot...horrible 80's house. The layout demands the entrance remain on the second floor...but need a re design. Stairs with less turns, more of a "porch"? Dying to be rid of the 1970's cover girl makeup color paint, too! Just leasing, but for THREE worth it. Small budget. I really want more of a traditional lake/beach house feel. Attaching exterior and the view from the rear of the house, which sits on 3 acres on a gorgeous lake. Interior not bad at all, neutral, windows and light wood floors.

Im thinking of a pale blue grey for your exterior and adding some kind of double porch.

This will enable you to have planters outside and high up, fill up the area below with greenery and then extend forward for a second lower deck. So it is two stages where you can add flowers and greenery...
