hi, this is a small dinning room about 140 sq.feet, table is about 11ft long and 13 ft wide. Want to change the lighting fixture but have no idea what to buy. appreciate any ideas, thank you.

Whatever you wind up with, it needs to be lower, about 25"-35" from the table top to the bottom of the light fixture. I would suggest you look at a site like lumens.com. They have almost anything you could imagine. Look around and get a feel for what you like and post them here for input on whether they will work for your space. I think what you have is nice and appropriate for your decor, just too high.

I agree with Addison the lighting fixture needs to be lower. Here are two lights fixtures that are vintage looking and can be found at Lowes. I would suggest finding a great picture for the wall near the front window. A grouping of plates on the wall would add depth and interest on the other. Here is an awesome link where there are endless ideas. https://www.pinterest.com/decoratedlifer/hanging-plates-on-walls/
Have fun!

Are you wanting to stay with the same style? Go with something a little more transitional?
Also are there any other fixtures in the vicinity? i.e. an adjoining family room?

You could add small shades over each candlestick for a new look after you lower the fixture.

Agreed, lowering the fixture to 30-36" above the table will improve the look. Is the light fixture temporarily tied up? Your fixture needs to be about 25 inches in diameter to fit the scale of the room, give or take a couple of inches. Be mindful of the wattage of your current fixture and don't exceed what your circuit can handle there. Bellacor.com has some nice chandeliers in Early American an Transitional Style which fit your room style, such as the fixture, below.
Will anything else in the room be changing?

I agree with lowering the fixture about 6". I design and build fixtures, here are a couple of unique pieces. These can be built to any dimension. Can you provide the table dimensions again? Looks like the fixture should be about 24" L x 16 W x 18 H

I like the current one. It looks vintage and charming. I'd love something like that in my bungalow.

its a classic fixture the one you have. paint it bronze, get lower wattage bulbs...that all work, clean up the hanging cord from the top, if there is extra lower it down a bit. its a perfect fit for your table and home. maybe get new candle sleeves.
