Would You Rather: Bathtub or Shower?
Admirals BankApril 30, 2014
Hygiene is an essential factor for almost any homeowner (we assume), which is why when it comes to the bathroom, it's important to attain that level of comfort. Whether it's a bathtub or a shower, both are designed to do one thing: clean.

Which choice would you prefer to go with?

I like a walk in shower in my master bath. We have a bathtub/shower combination in the second bathroom.

Showers are definitely the way to go, although bath tubs definitely look great. I'd say both, but if I had to choose, it would be a shower. Love that glass version in the poll pics!

I love the big showers, especially in an en suite. However, if you have a wee one, shower's are not very practical!

Definitely a shower, especially if it has a bench! This is one of our favorites, found on Pinterest.

Had the 1980's whirlpool tub and 30" cube shower. Tore it all out and created a 72x36 walk-in shower instead. Two heads, controls. Loved it. Oh every single little rock and stone in the picture was put in piece by piece, just because I am crazy.

@RNR Realty International: Great shot.. the bench is a nice touch!

@handygaltx: A walk-in can be quite convenient.. those tiles match well, too!

If I only had space for one, than it would be the walk-in shower. I have a walk-in shower and a whirpool tub, which hardly ever gets any use. When we decide to redo the bathroom, I'll most probably still get a tub, but a soaking tub

We have a huge whirlpool tub and a smaller shower. I would love to flip them around and have the big shower. If you have other bathrooms that have a tub then I would go with just a shower.

@printesa: A tub is always classic choice.. good luck with the redo!

@Kevin Strader: Great point, one shower would most likely suffice in that scenario.. then you could experiment with both.
