Bath Countertops
May 5, 2014
Hello, My husband and I are currently building a custom new home.. I am trying to decide what to do for my bathroom countertops.. Our builder is suggesting marble countertops, but I have heard from friends that they can stain and are not very durable... I am thinking of going more with the quartz countertops, but are those used in bathrooms?? Thoughts, Opinions, and input are greatly appreicated!!

There are some nicer marbles than others, but unlike a kitchen it won't suffer from lemon, wine or gravy stains. Quartz looks good too...

Italian milk glass (works well with white marbles used elsewhere in the bath), sheets of porcelain and glass are alternative materials for tops. A lot depends on the other elements you will be using.
