Is the upper tile a glossy finish and the grout matte?

I noticed the seams between the tiles - while less pronounced than the texture. Also, the trim band tile looks matte. Do you think the grout choice made the seams more noticeable? Your design is one of the best I've seen for an Asian-inspired bath. Great job, Monica Miller!

Thank you for the comments Mary! The border tile is the same glossy finish as the rest of the wall tile. I think it's the high relief of the pattern that's throwing you in the photo. Grout choice does make a huge difference in the prominence of the seams, but they are never invisible. Luckily there are lots of colors to choose from and my tile supplier is a big help in picking that color with me! - Monica Miller, CKD, CBD, CR.
