Is it practical to use engineered wood on a powder room floor?

Yes, since the powder room wouldn't be 'high' traffic.

It depends. Do people come in with muddy or messy boots next to a mud room? If yes, then don't use wood. If your powder room is off the main entrance. It would work. Also there isn't the same risk of splashing water from wet hands as there is from a bathroom.

The powder room is 25 sq. ft. Ceramic tiles are on the floor but I want to change the color. thinking of black or wood.
