terriseay Honed is a dull finish, correct? Seems to be a pretty bright refection on the island, or can honed sometimes be shiny?

Huestis Tucker Architects, LLC Thanks for your interest! Yes honed is a duller finish. You're right the surface does look shiny. It may be from the photographer's lights...or it may be that the granite is polished after all. Sorry, I don't really remember, this project was completed over 10 years ago.
