Can the door be opened with a remote control??

This would be easy to make, I would have a caster wheel to take all the weight and would not worry about a latch. The weight would hold it still, the door would of course swing one way only. Hope that helps.......... regards Mark.

Any chance you may provide some detail on the latch side, If You don't mind could you explain how the door swings without getting stuck on the door jam ?
or is the placement of the hinges all that is different from a normal door ?

Also a small indentation I the floor where the wheel his would help to just hold it in place for a firm push to open

The Door is on a remote lock and it was tied into the lighting system control to allow lock and unlock. It was a mag lock used
