Hi, The column is approximately 11 1/4" square. The center panel is approx 8" and the corner pieces are 1 1/4 ". This project was built in 2006 so the details are dead filed and I don't have access to the exact dimensions. All the moldings are stock trim pieces from a local millwork supplier. A finished carpenter can help you with assembling the built up column. You should base the column size on the proportions that work best in your space. Do a mock up if necessary.
