Is it too traditional now and out of style?

I think it's totally in right now! Were you decided whether or not to purchase it, sillyrara?

It's traditional and I still like that style,. You can move toward a transitional or more modern by mixing it up.

Add today's colors and design styles to the room. Add comtemporary accessories and fabrics and art.

The nice thing about reproductions from the 18th century, and most especially Chippendale style, is that they are classics that are played over and over. You can mix all sorts of styles with the true classics, so you are not roped into a particular style. I'm reminded so much of the most recent Chippendale styles that designers have embraced with the "bamboo" effect, to mix with an entirely modern interior.
