That's pretty tight. This project was tight with a little more than a foot more. Your island would have to be less wide...not impossible. I would draw it out and see what it looks like
narrow. If you're using your island as a secondary workspace, you won't need that much depth. It's worth looking into. I wish you the best with your project!
