California Cool in the Castro-Bathroom
How do you maintain and keep this brick-like wall clean?
I really love this look but my contractor told me it was hard to keep clean because it is not a smooth surface. How do you do it? And it is waterproof?
Where do you find these type of Wall Lights Built-in
and how do you install it?
Paint coordinates so well with gray stone...do I know the color?
Did you leave the drywall flush with the bath on the sides? Or do you have anything special to prevent
This bath is very pretty. I asked my contractor to do something similar but he is concerned about water damage. How do you water proof - between the tub and the 3 sided walls (above the tub)? the left and right walls are just paint?
If that is a jazcuzzi tub, how do you access the mechanics if it breaks?

My driveway has dropped about five inches from my garage floor. Any ideas on what I could do?
First off, your work is impeccable! My fiance and I are currently doing a renovation project on a home we just purchased and our goal is to resell in a year. Unfortunately the kitchen space requires a lot of work and the

you would be comfortable with? I am truly floored with your ideas far beyond anything I have seen before. I wish you would enter a whole new line of business and sort of "pre fab" units you have designed that could be purchased by us homeowners who need your vision! I sincerely stress the word "need" here

What kind/color of countertop is on the vanity? & where do you buy it
i have a marble floor which I dont like. is there something I can do to change its color? or else ?
How do I make a small to medium sized water garden/fountain for inside my room
If you were to do a shower/tub in this bathroom what tile would u use.
Technically, that's called a pencil edge but it's doing the same thing a bullnose would do, only with a bit more panache.
Hello, thank you for your comments. We are actually doing a project in California right now. We love it! :) In the ensuite bathroom of this particular home, we mixed this tile with Olympia Tile Avant Garde

Do you have any interior pictures and what size is the home?
Actually they do, so it's always worth a try. I've had great luck.

HI there. What are the dims for the island and what clearance do you have all around? Thank you
I have been thinking about putting a JA downdraft in a kitchen remodel but have gotten mixed reviews. How do u like it?
I understand your mantel is 42" over 36" cook top. Would it look okay to do a 48" mantel over 36" cooktop? My ceiling is 9 feet. Love your design and thanks for answering so many questions!
You are so wonderful to answer all these questions! Many professionals do not!

cabinets. Who makes these cabinets, and what would you call this style? We like shaker. The contractor who is doing other work in our home sells Dura Supreme, Showplace, Armstrong, and Shiloh. Do you know which would be the closest in style, including white paint? I understand they can be custom painted
kitchen. I am doing something similar in my kitchen and am struggling with the "texture" of the countertops and the backsplash. I've decided on a high polish dark countertop and want to use the dark grout as a way to add texture- but I'm just not able to decode the finish of the subway tile- do I go with

What kind of artwork is this? I love the shiny greens in it! Would love to do something similar to hide a wall do you have a link to see this in details?
Love that art work. Did you do it. Looking for something to put outside against a wall
I got it at Smith and Hawkins here in Portland, Oregon. They are out of business now but this same furniture is now carried by Target. Still quite expensive but it is great and will last longer than I will!!
