like the door casings are white and windows are stained. I'd love to know what color the interior doors are?
The casings & baseboards were all lacquered an off white, the main level windows were stained a dark walnut color to match the cabinetry, and the interior passage doors were lacquered black (paint not stain). TY deco!
Never thought about a door casing
Would love door casings if affordable.

white base adn trim with dark wood cabinets and door
5. Door casing. Like window casing, door casing is traditionally installed as separate pieces. But unlike window casing, door casing, for obvious reasons, has no bottom stool or apron. Though not absolutely a given, the door casing comes from the same family of trim profiles as the window casing

get this casing? Did you use plain casing and then add an edge band?add an edge band?
I love the casing around the doors.
The casing is a flat 1x6 with 1" block added to the outside edge. The 1" block captures the thickness of adjacent base board and top rail of wainscot.

is that door casing on each side of doorway? I really like how simple it is
on this door is comprised of three parts: - side casing: 1" x 4" - top casing: 1 7/16" x 7 1/4" - top casing trim: craftsman header 11/16" x 1 /3/4" The material side and top casing material can be MDF or Poplar or Pine (consider what your budget allows) but the top casing trim should be a solid wood
are the casing, the door jamb and the door stop which provides depth and a nice look for this style of trim. also consider whether you want the casing/trim to have square edges or slightly rounded edges The name of the top casing trim can vary depending on the supplier/manufacturer of the molding you

Love the doors and trim also.
Decorating question....is it okay looking to go with oil rubbed bronze for your door hardware and hinges but
then use brushed nickel on the facets in the bath and kitchen??? I am having the hardest trouble with this decision. Because my exterior door hardware has to
on the door hardware and facets or switch it up??Please some thoughts or suggestions!!!
of casing on the sides of the doors and on the top? Thank you!
front door hardware and outside lights are oil rubbed bronze. So are the lights in my dining room and over the kitchen island. My KD said to go with the oil rubbed hardware for the sliding door in the kitchen as well as the knobs/pulls and sink faucet. The downstairs powder room will be chrome/brushed

style doors seem to be 6'8" in height. If you have the ceiling height, we are seeing more homes moving to 7'0" tall and even 8'0" tall. It makes quite a dramatic impact when doing taller doors. See the attached Supa Door photo for an example of an 8'0" tall version of the same door.
these doors in Australia??? I am about to build and love the 5 panel doors and seem to find them everywhere on US sites but no one has them in Australia!!
double door trim, bathroom and closet
white doors with nickel hardware - also ceiling light from Lowes
doors for smaller bedroom on main floor
5 panel door, craftsman frame, wainscoting
five-panel doors are often used in mission and Arts and Crafts homes. Combined with a Craftsman header and wainscoting, these doors are architectural gems.

size of casing is used on these doors? I am looking for the width and thickness of the boards used to make this casing. Thanks,
I really like the interior doors. Where did they come from?
window and door casings, but they do use a biscuit to help keep the joint stable. I wouldn't call the edges sharp, perhaps eased ever so slightly with sandpaper. The three coats of paint often provide ample easing. Hope that helps.
a head casing which is on the wall/beam, but it doesn't go up to the break in the ceiling so the top of it is flat. Hope that helps!
Hello, These are painted flat four-panel doors with square sticking
1/2" head casings -- flush with the baseboard too (7/14"). They are from 1x poplar which is 3/4" thick. Hope that helps.
