What type of glass is in transoms?
Is the glass used in the transom windows clear or obscured in some way? I'd like to use glass in ours (building a custom home) but we are afraid they will show dust/dirt too much. Please advise. Thanks.
about the door trim? IT looks like the perfect width for my house as well, and I would love to share the info with my builder. Thanks!
The door trim is 4 1/4" wide. Glad to help such a youthful looking fan!

where did you buy the panel pocket doors?
between the doors and the transom. Since the doors are "hung" you need a 2x4 header across the top. That's why transoms that sit above pocket doors always have a space. The transom is like our model TR-4 made to match the doors (4'6" wide). You can see it here: http://goo.gl/eDlwml.
regular door slab from. In this case, you would need two kits and what looks to be two 2'4" door slabs. The hardware kits hang the doors from above. Note that 1 to 2" of the door slab is always hidden in the wall (each side).

I was wondering what type of door also
I'm thinking of doing similar doors with transoms, but hesitate on closet doors. Can you see inside the transom from the outside, if it's not lit inside? And did you have any 8' doors without
I am not sure what brand the doors are. Sorry! If you are curious about the window above the door, it is called a transom window.
This door trim was done with MDF (medium-density fiberboard)
shorter transom. My guess is that this transom is only 9 or 10" tall -- but it looks taller because there are no perimeter stiles or rails. A good problem solver for special situations.
That is a direct set transom with "bubble" or "seeded" glass. A direct set transom is a little different in that
