The walls are parged--a troweled-on mix of sand, lime, portland cement, and water. It's typically a structural solution, rather than a finish material, used here to consolidate the crumbling mortar of the masonry wall. But I like it as a finish, so long as the control joints are carefully composed

It is Pratt and Larsen 2x8 Subway tile. I had a custom color made in their crackled water color line. They have a lot of standard grays that have come out since I did the project!
It is a custom color blend from Pratt and Larsen. It's the crackled water color series. They do have some standard new gray colors that recently came out. The size of these tiles are 2x8. Thanks for the question!
Backsplash is a custom gray color from Pratt & Larson 2x8 Water Color Tile. The counter tops are from Perimeter in white fantasy quartzite. The island counter is caesar stone #2003 concrete

Thanks for your kind comment. The property is a Grade II listed building and as such we were only allowed to use glass. All the panels are double glazed and gas filled with low U value glass. We further increased the insulation of the closet extension to offset the glass. We worked closely with the planners
