Clear douglas fir cabinets made from the original wood of the Greene and Greene home in Ojai, CA. This old home was built in 1913, and designed by the Greene Brothers. Instead of providing separate bedrooms for the two young children, we designed a single large bedroom with a sliding wall of Douglas fir. Hi. The two beams that support the stair are reclaimed Douglas Fir that have been stained black. Cedar is typically not suitable for structural applications. Thanks for your interest.
