Love the base, what is the height of the baseboard and what size if the gap of the reveal?
I am pretty sure that this was 1x6 baseboard with a 1/8" reveal between it and the drywall. Thanks! Emily
casing in the new "bath volume" is a flush detail with 1/4" reveal, see attached sketch. This way we did not have to worry about the sliding door catching on the trim. Hope this helps!

Who did the millwork and how did you detail the reveal between panels?
I'm working on creating oak panels with a thin 3/8" to 1/2" reveal between panels for a high end residence. However, one company bidding on the project wants to paint out the reveals. How did you detail your panels for the project
no drywall. Solid partitions are faced with white oak in the public spaces and a different wood in the bedrooms.

technique was installing the rock/brick before the drywall was put on. I drew a random pattern and the mason followed it. Then drywall done after and brought to the edge of the rock. Since the rock (Eldorado Stone) is 2" thick, we did 3 layers of drywall. and then hand troweled the texture for smooth returns
