Duvet and cover. A duvet is essentially a soft flat bag filled with down, feathers or a synthetic alternative. It is recommended that duvets are inserted into a removable cover, much like a pillow and pillow case. Duvets and duvet covers are designed to be used alone
alone (with no sheets) because the insert can be removed and the outer "bag" can be laundered, but many people use them with sheets anyway. Many people like duvets because they reduce the complexity of making a bed, as it is a single covering instead of the combination of bed sheets, blankets, quilts and

How do you get the duvet/comforter to "look" so fluffy?? What's the secret
I have been looking for a neutral or even a simple off white duvet cover to use under a textured quilt. Would you mind sharing the source of this quilt cover?
keeping a duvet looking full & fluffy is to throw it in the dryer. Remove the insert from it's cover, throw it in for a quick 30 minute spin with a couple tennis balls, and watch it plump right up. To keep it looking fuller longer, before you make the bed, hold the bottom corners of the duvet and give
give it a shake before folding back on the bed. This will help disperse the fill that is inside of the duvet. Hope this helps! Happy decorating! Design It Yourself Decor | loomdecor.com | blair@loomdecor.com

Don’t feel like you have to avoid white. This color can be warmed up with ease via texture, such as the stitching pattern on this cozy duvet from Target. A few colorful, patterned throw pillows add even more texture to complete the look.

use quality inserts for throw pillows…down or cotton blend over polyfill or acrylic inserts
Quality pillow inserts instead of cheap acrylic or polyfil.
use good quality pillow inserts, i like the throw--could it be handwoven?
stuffed with inorganic inserts such as Polyfil look much different than a pillow filled with down or cotton blend. A pillow with a quality insert sits better on your furnishings, is more comfortable to lay your head on, and lasts far longer than an inexpensive one. Acrylic inserts tend to get misshapen
