white chair? And is it linen or leather? Love it!
How hard it is it to mount the tv on the stone? Where is the wiring?
the tv, chairs will have to have their backs to fireplace in order to see tv.
hide the wires. There is also a remote eye that can take the place of large equipment so that you can hide it in another location. Not sure what your condition is exactly, but you could try hiding some wiring in a mantle creatively. For example, if you had a large rustic looking wooden mantle attached
run a wire chase to remote location to house the dvd player, amplifier, etc. This is a must and typically not that difficult. Mounting the TV to the stone is another matter. A back plate (typically PVC or plywood) should be fastened into the stone. Then opening in the backplate should expose the wiring

craft wire or a child's wire clothing hanger (wrap with fabric or colored tape if you like) to create a wreath form, then attach pinecones with fishing line or hot glue.

Is it a chain? I am looking to hang a modern print in my 1894 home using the picture rail and am not sure what I should use. A silk cord seems to traditional and wire seems to utilitarian
styled chairs and the modern styled chairs in this room really work together because of the colours.
Mix of mod and traditional ie the chairs

molding to hide the wires. They should still be run in wiremold to protect them, but you won't have that unsightly channel running around the room
Well planned sound system. Speakers in walls. No exposed wires
cover surround sound speaker wires with crown molding
Plan for your speakers. If you'd like surround sound, buy the speaker system you want and then run the wires, rather than the other way around
run the wires, rather than the other way around. This way you'll know how many speaker wires to run and whether any parts of the system, such as a subwoofer, will need a dedicated outlet. If you are not planning to open up walls, consider mounting the speakers high on the wall and installing crown molding
