question concerning the size of the stone tiles used on the patio. I love the exterior stone and it does look like Pietra Cardosa which we are seriously considering for the exterior patio. Can you tell me the finish used on the exterior stone installed. Thanks so much.
What is the material of the patio floor?
the stone is not installed over concrete; it's installed over dirt/gravel/sand.
nice paving material (dark grey stone, don't know the exact name, but looks similar to pietra cardosa) installed over sand/stone/gravel

Hi We started with real grass and it stayed green throughout the 7 years we were at the house. When we decided to sell th ehouse we installed synthetic grass because we thought buyers might not want to keep a lawn mower for such a small strip. Regards, Dominic Bagnato

Who manufactured the fire pit? Installation easy?
I would not recommend using a wood-burning unit. Keep in mind, prior to installing, please check local fire codes / regulations, and consult with a licensed contractor to do the work. Thank you
That one has been installed since 2008 and the owners have not had any issues with it. I would not recommend
manufacturer regarding outdoor use. I have seen similar ones on EBay, Craigslist, and some Mid-Century Antique stores in Long Beach in the past. Prior to installing, please check local fire codes / regulations, and consult with a licensed contractor to do the work. Thanks
recommend burning wood in that type of situation. Again, prior to installing, please check local fire codes / regulations, and consult with a licensed contractor to do the work. Thank you

I have used synthetic grass on a number of installations and it looks awesome as a accent. In Texas one concern with larger installations is the heat of the material. Not something you will lay on when it is 100 degrees outside.
it could very well be EasyTurf - synthetic grass. We're seeing a lot
for this type of install - especially around pools and water . Installing artificial grass eliminates the maintenance required of real grass - mowing, water, weeding, etc., and keeps a lot of dirt, lawn debris and unwanted chemicals out of your pool. Check out a few of our installations, and let me know
know if you have any questions. Cheers! George http://www.houzz.com/projects/164931/EasyTurf-with-Paver-Stones
