Where can I find the light? Is it a globe light?
mid century furniture, edge banding is a clear sign of veneer. It is meant to cover up the unfinished edge of the veneer...no edge banding means solid wood
it's solid wood...check to see if the grain on the side matches up at the edge with the grain on top. This also is a sign of solid wood. -Carved details

Is this counter top really this thick? Or did you just do a dropped edge to make look it look chunky? I like how strong & striking it makes the kitchen
are giving me a hard time...How did you build up the countertops? Mitered edge? If so, did you have to build the cabinets up first? Any advice would be
stone you can easily double stack b/c it is light. My stone place charged 50 PLF to add an additional edge to give the illusion of thickness on my quartzite
