Obviously underneath the teak is a shower pan or a slope towards the drain. Is the whole bathroom floor is covered by a membrane of some sort? I the rest of the floor raised?

The teak floor on the shower is gorgeous. I am wondering how practical it is though to keep clean underneath? Does it go yukky? What actually is underneath? (a shower tray insert or recessed tiles? does it matter

Some fireplaces do not produce much heat, and the amount of heat that gets to the TV will also be influenced by the mantel shelf below the TV. The TV might be fine. We don't recommend putting a TV over
n in mind, it would be worth talking to your local fireplace experts. In all the years we've been doing this, I've only seen one TV damaged by the heat from the fireplace, and it was an extreme situation (bad design).

Can you explain the advantages and disadvantages of electric cooktops versus gas?
I like the wooden flooring used throughout the house. What is it ?

I recently switched from a gas stove to electric (due to a change of apartments), and I must say, there's a learning curve. In my experience electric cooktops take longer to heat up, and temperature control is difficult
