Was there a stain put on the floors or were they left natural?
What kind of wood floors are these?
Love the floors. What kind of hardwoods did you use?
What type of flooring was used?
Glad you asked! :) The floors are actually reclaimed timber from an old barn the homeowners purchased on the east coast. They had it dismantled, and had the lumber machined, shipped to Oregon and refinished into the gorgeous floor you see today! If you'd like to have us design
The floors are reclaimed barnwood - from previous posts.
Flooring looks like antique eastern pine but I would like to know for sure.

Love the mixture of color on the wood panel and elevated area.
Blue and pink and green and wood
Lights, greenery, windows, and new cedar colored wood. Could do this by the tree w/ the rocks around it, by the garage. Build up the yard, steps down to the parking area?

Great space! Is the flooring red oak with no stain?
put in a 3/4" thick natural cherry floor with three coats of poly throughout the main floor of our house. That includes the half bathroom and the kitchen. The continuous visual plane of wood is unifying and calming. The only tile is in the elegant entryway. The wood is stunning still. We leave our shoes
shoes in the entry closet and have almost like-new floors. The kitchen is definitely in need of refinishing where finish thinned and water has darkened the wood. That is our fault for not refinishing earlier. Even so, it is easily fixed. We were initially concerned about durability, but with moderate care
been fine. The beauty and comfort have been worth every penny spent at installation. We never tire of how warm, beautiful, and comfortable the cherry floors are. Highly recommended.

Terrazzo floors. Seemingly indestructable, terrazzo gets an A+ for durability, and also for its good looks. This material, made of chips of marble or granite set in concrete and polished, can score high for sustainability too if no- or low-VOC sealers and low-impact aggregates (like recycled glass)

espresso-stained wood mirroring the island below, makes it feel perfectly at home in the contemporary kitchen. Notice how the touches of dark stained wood throughout the kitchen — toe kick, island, beam, cabinet crown molding — tie the room together.
