Is it a wood floor or a look-a-like alternative? I'm interested in using wood floors in a bathroom (or engineered wood) but am hesitant based on durability concerns. Thanks!

Natural looking wood looks bright & clean!
Love the wood cabinets and lights
Engineered Wood Engineered wood is typically a composite of hardwoods and softwoods, with the topmost layer being the most durable (and usually prettiest) wood layer. Engineered wood is 100 percent wood, and it's more heat and moisture resistant than solid

Engineered wood floors. Extending wood floors into the kitchen is a terrific way to seam together several spaces, as this home demonstrates. Doing so requires a stout floor that can take the wear a kitchen doles out. Engineered wood floors can be a durable choice, since
since they have a thin veneer of finished wood backed by several layers, or plys, of more wood. This layered system makes engineered wood more stable than solid wood and less likely to warp when faced with temperature changes and humidity. Look for FSC-certified and formaldehyde-free options.

What kind of wood looking material on concrete family room floor?
Want the look of wood on a concrete floor but not sure what would work.
What wood type is this please? How wide are the planks? Very nice!!
Do you have any pictures of what engineered floor looks like?
Thank you! It is a beautiful floor. The mill we sourced the wood from was Graf, the stain was an antique brown, and we applied a semi gloss premium water based
We used 6" & 8" wide planks of white oak. The mill we sourced the wood from specializes in long planks, many of which are quartersawn. Thank you for your question!
It will look just like regular wood flooring. The difference is it will have a Birch plywood backer board glued to the bottom that keeps

Love the mixture of color on the wood panel and elevated area.
Blue and pink and green and wood
Lights, greenery, windows, and new cedar colored wood. Could do this by the tree w/ the rocks around it, by the garage. Build up the yard, steps down to the parking area?

Love the floors! Could you please give a specific description of the wood, stain...?
Unfortunately it is not a stain, it is an engineered flooring (which is actually better given it is such a light color!). Engineered flooring has a harder surface and doesn't dent, ding or dirty as quickly as real wood. Not to say I don't love real wood! This floor is from Kahrs. The color is Arctic
Hi forkgirl! The flooring is from a vendor call Khars. It is an engineered wood flooring product and the finish is white ash. It looks so great and this company has several other beautiful finishes that are very European. Hope that helps!
