Totally agree with ladycage. I have two sidelights and 3 small active boys shades would never work and wouldn't have looked as good. We got simple but effective films at home depot for a great price

Your question is hard to answer without seeing the layout of your home. There are exceptions, but in general we try to limit
"welcome home" with a clean doormat, potted plants in bloom and — if you have room — one or two pieces of neat porch furniture. Keep your porch lights on in the evenings, in case potential buyers drive by. Illuminating the front walk with solar lights is a nice extra touch, especially if you will be showing
