How do you go about painting the exposed ceiling? Is it sprayed and do you require a different paint for hot air ducts? Thanks
Any idea how hard/easy it is to clean a ceiling like this, or how you would do it?

Exposed ceilings such as this are usually sprayed using a paint sprayer. Using a sprayer does require more paint but you will be done in no time and will have a more uniform look that you won't be able to achieve using a brush and roller.

Hi, I'm considering doing an open wood ceiling in my house, and I was wondering--what kind of conduits do you have for the light fixtures? I'm trying to find the best way to have it fully fitted with lighting, and still look clean and beautiful.

has a ceiling height of 7' 1" at the joists and 6' 4" at the duct work. I'm 6' 3" and the basement feels big with white walls, black ceiling and slightly enlarged windows. We used a standard brick moulding along the ceiling, 1x4 for the door moulding and 5-1/4" "colonial" floor moulding. Thanks again
