there! We love the look of this stairwell and showed our designer this picture while we are working on building a house. Is it possible to see how the exterior of this house looks to get a better idea of the placement of the stairs?
I'm having a hard time deciding on the type of hardwood I want. The 5" handscraped plank (hickory) or 3" Bellawood smooth, semi-gloss floors (oak) My home has a concrete slab so Engineered hardwood is what I'm considering. It has 8' ceilings and a foyer in the center, then living room on right and dining

I think the other alternative would be to just use a water proof membrane with proper pitching for the water to drain
