we are considering this exact light for above our pool table. Would you do it again? Our builder is worried that the light will cause glare in your eyes, as most pool table lights shine directly down. Thanks!

Cathy. I think b/w tiles could be fine. Not sure if you're thinking about floor or backsplash use. Either way, they'll likely be the first thing your eye goes to upon entering the room--if that's what you want. The smaller the tile size the less jarring or graphic effect they will create.
