Farmhouse Kitchen Style In Your Home | Apartment Therapy San Francisco
Farmhouse Kitchen Style In Your Home I've always dreamed of having a big open farmhouse kitchen, with a giant galvanized sink and butcher block as far as the eye can see. But since it looks as if we won't be moving to a farmhouse anytime soon, I've been contemplating simple ways to bring farmhouse style
worn-in farmhouse look. If your style is super-eclectic, you might even try a mismatched set. • Keep fresh flowers around. Nothing creates the relaxed, cheerful feel of a farmhouse kitchen more than a loose bunch of fresh flowers. Choose a simple container, like a galvanized steel pail or a watering can
details of farmhouse style in your own kitchen at home: • Use mason jars. Mason jars are inexpensive and pretty; use them as drinking glasses, as vases, as candle holders, or even as light fixtures . Or try this DIY and make a mason jar soap dispenser! The possibilities are endless. • Consider a farmhouse
treatment. Farmhouses are meant to be well loved and well used, not pampered. Chippy wood finishes, steel and galvanized metals are materials that can take a beating and still look great.

Installer recommends installing farmhouse/apron sink as an undermount but I see this one is not. Did anyone else flush mount a sink like this?
Farmhouse sinks are wonderful! They provide a large single bowl for cleaning, pot filling and even washing small dogs! They also provide a great aesthetic for a kitchen space.
I love the farmhouse sink and the bead board on the fridge!
Farmhouse sink/wood slats on cabinet doors
front farmhouse sink to complete the country look. The beige painted walls and stained wood floor provide a warm, hearthy glow, very different from beachy aquas.
