Do you have any feedback/input as to how the marble holds up over time
I too was going to go with a Diano Reale marble vanity top in my Bathroom, but several folks are advising against using marble due the porous nature of the stone and the possibility of staining and acid
acid etching. Do you have any experience or feedback that you could share? I love the look, but I am now fearful that the marble will not hold up over time.
There is no question that marble may require some additional maintenance because it is a relatively soft and porous stone. However, I would not let that stop you from using it in a bathroom. Just be sure to use a natural stone sealer and cleaner to treat the marble periodically. Also, when corrosive

Traditional painted kitchen with inset cabinets and Carrera marble & limestone counters
Here is a closer picture that may help. It is a marble stone called Pietro Grigio. We got it from Fox Marble in San Francisco. The sealer darkened it up quite a bit which gives it that soapstone look.
It is a 3/4" thick honed carrera marble.

in my bathroom. Please look and give me your option. I have white calcutta marble with gray streaks. Should I use white quartz, white with a gray streak, or corian. I'm not able to find marble in a white. I've been told marble is not a good idea to use on the counter tops. Thanks
floor (grey marble), then softens with more of a honed brick pattern on walls in shower and small mosaic on floor in shower. nice relaxing. tirm look s good too.
