attach the iron rail to the wood floor or if tile floor?
how do you attach the iron rail to the wood floor or if is tile ? we are building a house and we have kinda of the set up main stairs and it goes to the basement.

used a faux finisher they brought in from Dallas. My painters did the main wall paint, but someone else did the faux. We built this home in 04'-05' and I simply can't remember the undercoat color.
