I love the floors. What kind of wood are they? What kind of finish is on them? Thanks.
May I ask who the floor is from? Finish?
It looks like beautiful white oak with a whitewash style finish. firstname.lastname@example.org

on the MDF but the sheet rockers liked a deeper edge to feather the mud over the MDF. and the paper tape was preferred over the mesh tape. the paint finish is the same on both surfaces. have fun!

Can you tell me the type of wood flooring and finish? Thanks!
I believe all the flooring in the house was reclaimed from buildings in France. I don't know how it was finished after its installation here, but I would assume polyurathane?
veneer plaster is applied, it can be left alone or apply a colored wax if a more dramatic look is wanted. This works great for a matte finish; if a high gloss finish is wanted than it's better to stay with true Venetian plaster. We hope this helped! January 21, 2013 at 5:56am Like Julie LandrumAlso-in
synthetic bits instead of real marble which drives the price up. I have used it in my home and I love it. It is Matt finished unless you choose to burnish it or add wax for a high gloss finish. Oh-and one more thing-the brochure will tell you it only comes in certain colors but it isn't true-you can choose

Thank you for viewing our photos. The wood is Antique Oak Flooring, Appalachian Woods, natural color with clear finish.
The finish here is a stain
The finish on the custom red oak cabinets is a stain, then layers of paint (blues, reds, etc), scraped, sanded, marred, then a clear finish coat. The painter played with a number of techniques to achieve the homeowner's desired aesthetic. Hope this helps!

Is tidal white the same as River White? How do these look honed or leathered? I like the look of honed/leathered but getting advice that those finished not good on the River White..true or false?

It's granite in Tidal White. Finish is leathered.
today and found a granite called Blanco Montanha that looked similar. There seem to be several names for same granite. Then it is leathered or satin finished. Not glossy. I like it.

What finish is used on this floor (sealer, wax)?
Thanks for your question. These floors are amazing, we agree. The cabin’s concrete floor was finished with a “Tortoise Shell” Kemiko stain. You can find all of Kemiko’s colors and finishes at their website: http://www.k
