Did you have to use a fire retardant on your wood backsplash?
I just installed a wooden shiplap backsplash myself like this. And am wondering about it being a fire risk near the stove. Thanks
of the budget constraints. It's a 12" thick retail wall with cutout openings of various sizes. I think he's concerned about getting everything to line up perfectly, wrapping the corner and the backside. Breaking it up with trim makes it a little easier on him. We'll see! Thanks!
It is shiplap, I believe each plank is roughly 6" in height. We had them do a 1/8" (approx) straight edge route so that the lines stayed nice and clean
One similar to this would be really open. Plenty of seating. Can add stools on the short side by the dining table, too. One level counter top, clean lines! As long as there's a place to put other countertop stuff.
