Hi, how did you achieve the washed looked of the bricks?
- At the risk of jumping in front of Resort Custom Homes, those are vented gas logs by Golden Blount, likely in a masonry woodburning fireplace. Specifically, it think it is one of the Texas Bonfire sets: http://www.goldenblountinc.com/products/vented.texasbonfirecharred.html
this brick is Walnut Creek by Statesville. this is how the material comes.

I also would love to know the color of the brick paint used here.I have a rustic red brick fireplace and would love to update it more since I live in florida. Im not really into the white brick fireplace.....I think this dark color looks rich and may work for me.

colored brick replicate that beautiful color?
Do you think a wood stain could replicate the color of the brick? I figured I would be able to lighten or darken the color as I sponge it on as it appears there is a nice variation in the color of this fireplace. Also, wood stain has a similar sheen.

I am currently having contractors demo my kitchen and expose a brick chimney that vents the furnace. Was there anything special you did to make sure the brick was clean? Some of the brick has plaster on it and I'd like to suggest to the contractor that they scrape it off or somehow clean
Love this brick. Any way to find out the name and maker?
The fireplace area looks great! Please can you tell me what did the contractor use to enhance the color of the bricks.I want the bricks around my fireplace to be exposed exactly the way you have got it done.I was successful in removing the layers of paint from it and now can see the original bricks, but
of the bricks is not highlighted enough;also I am not looking to paint them a red color-any suggestions on what product to use to make the original color stand out more. Thanks!

How did you paint that brick fireplace? The lines seem really clean. Did you grout differently? What kind of paint did you use?
interior brick paint. Thanks for any help.
how should I paint this Brick or should I leave the brick and just paint the wall.
Interesing painted brick chimney, looks good with the beam.
or red brick fireplace can detract from the stunning craftsmanship above. Going with the same white as the walls allows the texture to sing without disrupting the soothing flow of the space.
