“above your fireplace before the start of your fireplace. Same thing with a 9" mantle - 9" up to get a 9" deep mantle. For hanging a t.v. above the fireplace their should be some form of a break for the heat - that's why we will often use a mantle, even if its small like in this picture, to keep the direct”

I don't want to be a party-pooper, but the Montigo fireplace shown is a 150,000 BTU fireplace and not even typically used in a residence, but is more designed for commercial applications.
That's a lot of heat, in fact, five times the heat”
