Love fireplace - what is it made of and how can I get it. Great space!

on the other side of the door is a window 6' wide x 4' tall (dining table area). the trim around another door in the room is going to be 3.5 ". do we use the same width trim on the doors as the windows? thanks

I have a small wall mount corner sink and would like to use it against a beadboard covered wall. I am worried about the spaces between the sink and the beadboard at the locations where the beadboard has grooves. Would you use caulk? Thinking that will look odd against wood.
