wow!! black and white soothing fireplace
classic fireplace rival anything I saw in the castles of Europe! It makes me want to relax in front of the fire while listening to Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto Number 3 in G Major." That music always makes me feel uplifted in spirit, and I think it fits the fireplace.

Is this open fireplace allowed in California ,I think the fire codes might be different from those in Arizona
What is the stone slab used in the bottom of the fireplace?
Is this fireplace open on all these side or is it seamless glass? Who is a manufacture of the fireplace box?
does that fireplace come in a kit form? or was it just built how you designed it. It is very nice and would love to build that in my house would there be any drawings that i could go off?

Maybe a treatment for fireplace. Use copper and let it patina
cantilevered fireplace creates a striking transition between the large great room and the more intimate hearth room. It sits atop a natural honed limestone slab with chiseled edges. Painting: Max Hammond

How is the height of the tv working out? Is it angled for viewing? I'm not sure what the ideal height is for viewing, but we would love a hearth on our fireplace.
The overall width of the fireplace is 9' wide. Not

Could you share the dimensions of the fireplace, please
The fireplace stone is Pennsylvania Field Stone. The hearth [which extends across the entire room and acts as a walk-in threshold for the doors] is bluestone.

I love how you combined all of the materials for your fireplace. I would like to know where I could find a similar fireplace, but only one sided. I am also interested to know what the dark grey material is surrounding it (not the plaster) is it part of the fireplace insert? Very
used for fireplace? material around opening too?
Is the fireplace gas or electric? What brand is it. Thank you
Hello, What are the dimensions of the fireplace wall and the openings on each side? TIA
on the fireplace surround is? Is it brushed stainless steel?
Thanks Charlie, I meant the actual surround... the material immediately around the fireplace. Is it stainless steel? Is it part of the fireplace or an added feature?
