The firepit is perfect! What are you using for your cap material on the firepit? Is that poured concrete?
particular firepit is natural stone including the cap as are most of our firepits. We also use cultured stone, textured concrete and natural rocks as well.
but the patio itself is made of pavers. Belgard makes them, they are called 'Mega Lafitt', here's a link to some info about them on Belgard's site: http://belgard.biz/collections.php?section=0&ind=3 One of the reasons that I love this paver is because it does look so natural!

Flagstones, which is what you see in the photo, come in a variety of colors, depending on what area they came from. Find a stone supplier near you and go visit to see what they offer. It's an interesting experience and you'll learn a lot.

rendered in flagstone, seems to vibrate with its own energy. The stones form a rhythmic motion as the spiral narrows, turns in on itself and terminates at a center firepit. Where most of the spaces between the stones are planted with soft, woolly thyme, note the contrasting crushed stone used in just a single
