You actually don't need a lighting pro: a good electrician and the right returns where to hide your RGB LED strip lighting will suffice. You can by LED strips even from IKEA these days.

The flooring is a 30"x30" porcelain tile the homeowner provided. It was purchased from a company overseas in Italy, but unfortunately we do not have a specific manufacturer of supplier for this material.
I bought straight steel for my floors. Worth every dime!

Chestnut. I'm just surprised at how dark it is since my stained pieces don't show that dark. I want to restain my newell to have some contrast with my floor which is how I found your ideabook :) Did you use Minwax brand? and curious as to what topcoat you used. Thanks for the inspiration
Yes, they were very very light. They were unfinished red oak to start with
