LINK OF TILES AND FLOOR BOARDS UNDER DOOR TO BATHROOM
wooden strip for transition between tiles and wooden floor
strip between wall tiles and floor wood
The simplest way to link floor tile and hardwood of different heights is with a transition strip. These strips can be finished to look like the floor or painted to stand out. Tip: Leave ⅝ inch to ¾ inch of space centered underneath the door for the bottom of the transition strip. If you affix a piece
piece of scrap baseboard or plywood in the same size, it'll help keep this channel clean of thinset, making the transition strip much easier to install.

a T-mold or similar applied transition strip. However, if you instead use a glue-down or nail-down wood (engineered is available this way also) then you can create a flush transition instead. Here's an example from one of my projects where I did exactly that. http://www.houzz.com/photos/1087813/SV
