Sorry for the delay in response! We mounted the shades just below the crown molding. When the shades are up they clear the glass. (they are french doors behind).
how tall are the big windows that have the shades? If you have the shades pulled up 75%, are they too bunched up at the top

Where can I find the roman shades?
Thank you for the compliment on the chandalier. I am sorry to say that we can't recall exactly where it was purchased; however, I suggest looking at Shades of Light or Lamps Plus as I expect they will have something very similar.
