Bookshelves along the walls are effective and add character to the home
Should we line hallway with bookshelves?
temporary, fold-up shelving that is so prevalent.
incorporate bookshelves into your hallway, just make sure they look like furniture, rather than temporary, fold-up shelving that is so prevalent.

find the bookshelves? I need some that are tall and thin like that.
How much are those bookshelves?
Ikea bookshelves flank one of Wilson's prized possessions: a camel-colored tufted leather settee with rolled arms, a luxurious hand-me-down from her parents.

Eclectic Spaces
Interesting space with huge amounts of storage, which is always handy. Do you know what kind of hardware was on the pivoting bookshelves that conceal the cedar closet? Thanks

Built-in bookshelves separate the main seating space from the kitchen; they were deliberately built just shy of the ceiling to allow natural light to flow in from a kitchen skylight. I want a fold out couch bed too
The bookshelves are from Pottery Barn Teen, but I believe they are now discontinued.
Hi catherinegrace, It seems to be a custom-made fold out couch, as you can see better from this picture: http://www.houzz.com/photos/130582/Children-s-Rooms---Nurseries-eclectic-bedroom-los-angeles
isn't a fold out - it appears to be a custom with a pair of matching ottomans arranged into what can be used as a guest bed.
does if fold into a couch? that I don't love
Because it folds, it won’t be as solid as a conventional mattress. There are three basic types:Innerspring mattresses have coils inside; the more coils, the better. The average is 345 coils; 644 is very good.Memory foam mattresses are better. They have no coils inside; the foam conforms to the user’s body

Replace the chairs with thin profile Danish style rosewood and black leather chairs. Requires rosewood table. Needs overall lower stance and profile to give the bookshelves more sight and a casual feeling.
