to minimize the step overall width in order to allow safe travel to and from the two person shower on the right hand side. if the step were wider it would get into the shower area too much. Open air shower was the biggest priority (skylight above). Before & After pictures on this one are REALLY stunning

Thank you so much. The overall bathroom area is 15'6" X 14'. The shower is to the left and the toilet to the right behind the tub. Each of these is 4' wide X 6'10", included in overall area of the bath. The tub is "Vintage"
Where did you get the decorative bottles with the stoppers on the top floating shelf?
It is a free standing tub. The wood shelf you can see at the photo covers a pony wall next to the toilet and does not related to the tub.
The tiles in the shower are Travertin, Ivory Chiseled Edge, French style 2"x4".

bathroom was completely gutted from the original space and enlarged by modifying the entry way. The bay window area was opened up with the use of free standing bath from Kohler. This allowed for a tall furniture style linen cabinet to be added near the entry for additional storage. The his and hers vanities
