actually the whole house was really an amazing opportunity to unite my French and American coastal roots (Brittany, France and Norfolk, Virginia). This room was Key West-inspired using an aqua-hued color scheme. If I recall correctly, the bed linens are from Manuel Canovas, the French fabric designer.
Love this! I want to do this color ceiling in my beach house. Could you tell me what kind of paint, color, amount of mix you used? Did you mix the paint with clear Faux to dilute?
Thanks for your question. The floors are 100-year old red oak barn wood. The wood was reclaimed and hand-scraped giving the bedroom and house a bucolic tone of reminiscent of the coastal villages of Brittany in France.

point was our very large flat screen TV. However; I do have a fireplace but we never use it. It is on the outside wall which also has a bookcase and french doors going to the patio. Would this design work with the focal point being the TV?

the fireplace is on also has built in bookshelve on one side (which a decorator thinks I should have removed. The other side of the fireplace has French doors leading the patio on the other side of the fireplace. I have 3 full walls except each has a door, one into entry foyer, one into breakfast room
