“Where can I buy these doors? I love them and are they available in only solid wood”
“paint doors versus staining doors than you cover up alot of the beautiful part of wood which is the "grain". We also have distressed wood like knotty alder which is good to paint also. I am attaching a picture of a knotty alder wood door which has a little distress look to it. Also, a art glass door”

(It's not that technical of a door in my uneducated opinion, but when I tried to get it from Home Depot, the door was going to be from one company, the lights from another, and the transom from a 3rd...that made me nervous”
“stained the door, there are small spots of glue (they glue in the lights on the sides, and when a piece of glue gets on the door, they wipe it off (per my paint/stain man) and the door "looks" clean, but the stain doesn't take in those places, so I now have spots...but they are putting stain on the spots,”
“alder door was twice the price, and fir is a harder wood, so went with fir, but mine has pine framing..so the stain may take differently. My painter is using a stain, but I can't get to the can yet to see the color, but I will post a picture and the name of the stain color I'm using to try and replicate”
