I'd like to do a cabinet similar to this; is the washer/dryer cabinet vented in anyway? I was looking at the spec requirements and they indicate venting is required e.g. a mesh or slats about the size of a air/heat register.
Are the cabinet doors for the washer/dryer
Washer/dryers can be noisy! I am thinking about combining the laundry room with a living space but I am concerned about the noise factor? Any thoughts please?
Is there a tray under the washer?
that the dryer and the bathroom fan both vent outside.
Yes, I agee the dryer must be vented through the back wall to the exterior. The specs for the washer/dryer state that in an enclosed space e.g. closet or cabinet it required additional venting, one at floor level the other at the top; perhaps that's
bought front loaders and hate the smell my towels have and I only use HE detergent. I'm ready to get the old ones back my towels never smelled before. Any suggestions??
What is the cabinet depth of the cabinets over the front load washer/dryer?
between loads and let it dry. Also, use an old towel to dry out the gasket around the door. Sounds like a hassle, but takes seconds and prevents odor!
clean your washer once a month. Remember mold clings with
spores and embeds itself..so keep your door fully open at all times.

of the washer. How thick is the MDF which was used as the top and how wide is the strip from which the lip is constructed?
There are so many great photos of counters over the front loading washer/dryers, but I have yet to find one that does not seem to be "staged".
A dryer can not be placed flat against
over my washer and dryer but my washer "walks" during its cycles. Is there a solution to that movement?
and a washer almost always has the water knob behind or above it slightly which is an eyesore itself.
PLEASE help us find a picture of a counter that is functional AND pretty with instructions on how to build.
Most we have seen are just laid on top for "looks"!
Thanking you in advance!!! Lyne
What has been the experience of having stacked washer/dryer? Does the top dryer stay put?
I have 'doubters' in my family that think the top dryer will get displaced and shift on the washer - as well as the action of the bottom washer creating 'shifting movement' for the top
top dryer. Please share your thoughts and suggestions so we can be assured of avoiding accidents. Thank you kindly.
I am also curious about the dimensions of the cabinet housing the washer and dryer and how big the ironing board opening is.
Could do our laundry room like this stackable dryer
