That is not a appliance brand downdraft and must have been specially designed and made. That is a wolf range and like most pro ranges they do not suggest down venting. This looks like a really smart way of achieving the best
When you say the engineer designed the vent, does this mean it is fully custom and can not be purchased from a manufacturer or was the installation custom? Thank you
The unit we used, augmented the pop up vent on the back of the stove. We used a mechanical engineer to design the system. I suggest you do the same since every condition is different.
