I love your front door - can you tell me the manufacturer ?
What is the material on the ceiling of this entry?
Would you please share the width of the trim used around the door ?
Where can this door be bought or ordered from? Looks great!
How wide is the porch at the front door?
What is the depth of the porch right in front of the front door?
What is the stain on this door?
Love the outside door and tongue and groove ceiling. What type of wood is used on the ceiling and what color is on the door and ceiling please? Thanks!
The stained ceiling is cedar tongue and v groove - we include this in many of our homes - it is a nice feature on porches.
This front door was a custom Mahogany door that our trim supplier ordered for us with an Emtek mortise entry handleset.

what dou you call the "miniroof" spanning the front of the entry porch gable end roof?
where did the circular vent in th front gable come from...............i am having trouble finding it
At the base of the gable, below the gable vent is that narrow slanted strip of "roof". What is that called?
This is an old post, but I think that roof style is called a box gable and that part of the roof is is called a pent roof. A pent roof is a simple shed roof that acts as a small overhang on the face of a wall that is separate from the main roof, so I'm not quite sure if this is the right term. I've also

square columns, and pilasters against the wall, each with a base and a capital. Two flat bands above the capitals imply an architrave and a frieze, while the trimmed fascia gives us the cornice. The gable face provides the basic pediment.
Double Gable Eichler Remodel
What did you use in the living room to replace the posts that are usually just beyond the front sliding doors. Awesome redo btw I have to say this is a perfect blend.
Here is the view from the living room, which sits underneath the rear gable, back to the open atrium. The continuity of outdoor and indoor realms is undeniable, from the way the space flows through the openings to the way the ceiling extends

The Pool House was pushed against the pool, preserving the lot and creating a dynamic relationship between the 2 elements. A glass garage door was used to open the interior onto the pool.
Can you tell me if the garage door is bronze or black?

I'd like to know the ceiling height and the dimensions of the doorways. Thanks so much.
What is the Ceiling height? Beautiful door ways!
Love them! Can you tell me how wide the baseboard is? What about the door trim? IT looks like the perfect width for my house as well, and I would love to share the info with my builder
be 7 1/4" tall. The door trim is 4 1/4" wide. Glad to help such a youthful looking fan!
Hi, I would like to know the trim dimensions for doors, windows, and baseboards
These ceilings are 9' - 6 1/2" high.
transoms - not sure ceiling height near bedrooms supports this
Are the ceilings high enough to do these window lights above the master bedroom entry door?
would like this above bedroom doors and closet doors to allow natural light

"barn door" built by our carpenter
you have plans on how to build this door? It looks great!
I love your door! What kind of wood is that?
That door has been hung the wrong way.
Diagonal bracing is use to prevent a door dropping with age when made from boards
doesn't affect the functionality of the door or how it will age. Also, the entire door is a lightweight pine.
the lights were from Lowes, but yes you can also purchase the one above from Barn Light Electric (and they're
from the outer edge of the door to the inner to prevent the door dropping over time. It's all about making a quality door, honest in its design details.
the door was beautifully made by some local artisans....the diagonal wood piece is lighter than the rest of the door boards, and purely decorative

What are the dimensions of the beams and are they real or faux? Do you have any issue with the ceiling fan blo
What is the brand/name of the ceiling fan?
Thank you for asking ebie! The "beams" are actually collar ties that keep the gable roof form tied together. They are double 2x10's wrapped with 3/4" thick A & Better Cedar boards that have been mitred the full length of the collar
Sure, Carly. The bottom of the beams meet the walls at approx. 10 feet above the floor and the peak is 16-8" above the finished floor. Hope that helps!
different finishes. You can see it here: http://www.ceilingfan.com/Minka-Aire-San-Francisco-Ceiling-Fan-s/301.htm Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
